Old Dan Tucker is the first thing I ever learned on the fiddle- played it with double stops from the start. Easy. Recently I heard it was the first tune John Summers played on fiddle, too. I have a Samson R11 dynamic underneath and to the left catching the bottom plate, and the Heil PR35 thru a Behringer Tube Mic 100 preamp catching the sound coming from the top.

Also a nice job - I liked the singing too.
Singing and playing is not easy, wish I could do it - but I guess I'd first have to learn how to sing without playing.. :-)
