Nicely played - I enjoyed listening to them.
I met a Welsh fiddler at "Fiddle Hell" here in Groton last year who gave me Welsh tunes in sheet music form. Haven't gotten 'round through them yet. This might encourage me. Their quite nice - and nothing at all like Irish fiddling...

Thanks for posting these. The sound is really distinctive, and nicely played. Is the drone/doublestop sound typical of Welsh jigs?
The 3rd one sounds a lot like a jig I know as The Moon and Seven Stars.

I think drones and double stops are quite commonly used by Welsh fiddlers, more so than by Irish ones for example. To be honest, I use them in most of my fiddling.
