A cut from our coming CD with the Old Time Remedy. Me fiddle , Ulf Holgersson French Harp , Kristian Herner Banjo , Rachel Eddy Guitar , Peter Olsson Ukulele. I first heard this tune at the Galax Fiddlers convention in 1976 I think it was , I taped everything back then on a casette recorder. A few years later I noticed that this tune also was in Christiasons Old Time Fiddlers Repertory. A somewhat rare but to me a mighty nice tune-

Sounds great, and also like a cousin of "Breaking Up Christmas".

I use standard tuning on this one eadg. The melodic span of this tune is slightly over two octaves. From A on the G string to B on the E string.
I do not think it is so close related to Breaking up Christmas. However I will admit that there are some similarities with Breaking up Christmas.
