I was goofin' around with the fiddle named Carthy, pushin' the tempo. I can only get this fast on tunes I know really well, and well rehearsed downbowing patterns are helping keep it as steady as it is... likewise a relaxed wrist. Likely suspects are Sawshuffle, Smoothshuffle and Syncoshuffle- listen for them! I'm sure Michael Cleveland can play a LOT faster! I normally don't LIKE to play this fast, I prefer slow and bouncy, and so does my wife, but you never know when some hotshot young banjo picker will want to push up the tempo on you!

Good job! I like them slower too, but it's good to be able to control things at a likkity split, because there are so many that want it that way.
