Construction time was about 50 hours. The size, about 3/4, was dictated by the size of the raw material.. It was donated to the McClean VA youth orchestra benefit auction. They provided music for our turning clubs Christmas Ball. Yes it was playable and sounded amazingly good for such a deviation from traditional design.
