Spied it yesterday in a pile of junky bows at the local vintage geetar shop. Got it (along with a bass bow that needs a rehair) for $20 for the two sticks. I dunno if the frog is ivory, ivoroid, celluloid or what. But I like the looks of it. It badly needs a rehair but still plays! It feels and sounds nice. Can't wait to get it rehaired and find out what it really can do.

I'm not one to say you got lucky without looking at it directly, but it is possible. Is it a heavy bow for its size?
