It was a gift from a dear friend in June 2023. It is an 1895 instrument and had not been played since the mid 1930s. It had not been out of the case since 1970, when it was placed in its case and stored under a bookshelf. It is a German trade instrument made for the American catalog market. It quite exceptional in tone and power.
