Sweetiekat - yes, these fiddles are part of my collection of fancy "trade catalog" fiddles. Thanks for asking ........ I think that they're beautiful, too. Some of them don't have much tone, others sound pretty good. Most of them are from the late 1800's, and I get a lot of pleasure out of restoring them.
I'm going to be doing a display of these fiddles and the manufacturing of fancy "trade catalog fiddles" this summer at some festivals.... Brandywine, Mt. Airy, Henry Reed, & Cifftop.
