Yes... I've been making and wearing them for about 5 years...One of my other photos shows me holding Car tire sandals that I wore to raise money for a Nicaragua kid's lunch program.. I ran 100 miles (not at one time) to highlight the project. I started making them after I read 'born to run'.......I only wear regular shoes when my wife 'suggests' that I do...

For real? Those are your feet? Sure is plenty of need here in Argentina. Just 5 blocks, not more than 5 minutes away from me is a little "mini slum" along the railroad tracks. Sometimes folks from over there come by our house and ask if we have things we can give them to sell on the street. We have a bunch if stuff we are going to give them since we are leaving to return to the US very soon.
