Just now getting around to posting this - since I took the picture I added two leather tabs so it could hold both my bows. Edges needed wood glue and clamped, hinges & clasp needed some work, and I lined the whole inside with double layers of felt. Pretty happy with how it turned out, I use it for all reenactments & old events I take my fiddle to now.

It's wonderful to hear that you are incredibox happy with how it turned out and that it serves you well during reenactments and old events. Do you have any pictures of the finished case?
