I like the looks of your fiddle. I like the way it is darker in the middle and then lightens out....I dont know the professional description.

Thanks, although I think that a lot of the color variation is from how the angles caught the sun.
I really stuck my neck out buying that fiddle because I was an absolute beginner. I had messed around with a really poor fiddle for a few weeks and knew that I was hooked on the instrument, so I bought a nice one. I am really pleased with the fiddle. I am the weak link, but little by little my fiddling is starting to sound like music.
