Sony mic within wool cap

Posted 3/10/2008 11:47:04 PM

A simple attempt to reduce reflections, echo & room-sound using materials at hand, i.e. my winter cap. It seems to help. Less clang. This same idea should work with the new portable recorders such as the Zooms and Edirols, which use integral stereo mics of similar design as the Sony--mess around with it if you're using one of those recorders, see if it helps improve the sound of a too-brittle or too-echoey recording room. Unlike egg cartons glued all over your walls, this new state-of-the-art technology does double-duty as Personal Head-Warmth Assurety-Providing Device Unit. Patent Pending. All Rights Reserved. You're amazing Jane. 9 years old, playing since '33 and still 'inventing' stuff. Good use for the wool cap too. Certainly don't need something like that where you're at.
