1902 sears catalog, my Duerr fiddle is 1903. Although in the picture numbered No. 12R268 is not correct, the Duer picture is actually No. 12R270, it's exactly like mine, one piece back and carving on the bottom of the scroll. You'll have to zoom in to read, or copy and paste into something like photo shop.

This photo reminds me of a joke once told of a woman trying to order some of that newfangled toilet tissue everyone was yappin about,She wrote Sears and Roebuck asking about it ,cause she heard you could buy it in bulk.This was years ago with snail mail.Well,Sears wrote back asking for the catalog and item number.The woman ,a bit perturbed wrote this back: Dear Sears,and you too Roeback !
If I had yer dang catalog, I wouldn,t need yer ol toilet paper!!
