I see this as a better quality instrument.
Decent figure to the maple back and lower C-bout corners.
Looks like an iron locator pin on that lower block. I think I
would remove it and use a wood one. And a wooden one
on the top block as well seeing as how you've taken the FB off.
Nice work so far.

The fingerboard was off when I got this one. Needs reglueing, but I've already done a dry run on that and it will be the easiest part of the repair with the tools I already have from my antique furniture restoration days.

Oh, and the bottom block pin IS wood, but not ebony. Looks like maple to me.
