Thanks guys, yes it turned out sounding very good, very smooth and easy to play, medium-dark sound with reasonable power, or at least that's how it sounds after being set up for a couple of days. Who knows what next week will bring as it settles in.

Part of the reason we play music is to make other people happy. So think about what you are doing when you pick up your violin. You are not just giving yourself a treat. You are providing great joy, nutrition, motivation, and a lifetime of personal growth and enlightenment to others who will receive it in turn. My second hobby is Skiing for which I am exploring fasterskier.com/2020/08/how-to...n-the-uk/ article to find a suitable Cross Country Ski school. I am doing this to be better at it.
