it was an old METAL chair, maybe from a doctor's office or an ice cream parlor....the phrase 'sentenced to life in a non-electric chair' came a from a song I wrote: title: HILLBILLY SLUT. Lyrics: As I tried to write my letter/I abused my alphabet/fifteen greasy lies/no replies/no surprise/i cant send a postcard now/the mailman got suspicious of me/i tried to parcel post/from here to maternity/under surveillance i fell apart/i am not strong, i am not smart/they gave me life in a non-electric chair/sincerely yours, ms. polly swan. p.s.: they'll never get me to leave this farm, i'm a hillbilly slut and i aint budging, i got some heaven right here on this farm, i'm a hillbilly slut and i aint budging, i got no reason to leave this farm/call me hillbilly slut but i aint budging.
