People are always taking photos. Found this one via Google Image search. Don't know who took it. Yours truly, making music on the sidewalk in Lambertville. Hopefully some photos of the BJ & Jane busking-duet will show up on the Web. Haven't found any yet. Lookit all the green in that fiddle case!!! Look out all you Wall Street Insiders, a new zillionaire is arriving!

Yep, John there's fortunes--FORTUNES I SAY!!!--to be made in making a public nuisance of yerself. Actually, there was a noticeable sag in $$ intake from late 2008 until mid-summer 2009. The Recession. Passerby looking all gloomy, more quarters, pennies, wooden nickels, IOU's and candy wrappers tossed in the fiddle case, less greenbacks. About mid-summer things got better, thank god. It's actually a bonafide part-time income source. A FUN income source.

Yes, you can LITERALLY make TENS of DOLLARS busking! Well, unless you count the funny money, then it's billions. Makes you think you're in DC . . .

BJ, I'm well-aware of yer desire for Mysterious Photographic Anonymity. Don't you remember? I PROMISED not to let anyone ever know you're actually Mariah Carey, in love with OT music for the haven it affords you, the respite it provides from Immense Fame and all those dang tap-dancing & posture lessons. So, should I find a photo of us dueting, I'll photo-shop one of them black bars over yer eyes, National Tattler tabloid style, or maybe photo-shop replace yer face with that of former First Lady Barbara Bush or Marge Simpson. Andah1, that's my spare bow. The photo was taken in 2008, before BJ and I began dual-busking. What the photo doesn't show is the PERFECT name of the shop I'm busking in front of: FIDDLEHEADS (they've since moved, but sold gourmet foods--not fiddles, ferns or heads). The new business moving in there is J.P. Sousa's Dry Goods, so I'm spending this winter getting my trombone chops up to speed. Gotta stay relevant, ya know.
