As my fiddling has improved, I've preferred a flatter and flatter bridge.

Thanks Doyle... Appreciate the kind words... yes, this bridge radius is comfortable for me, right now... maybe it'll be different 6 months from now...but so far, every time I've wanted to change it, I wanted it flatter...
thanks for the comment...

Thanks for the comment Jimmy... Since the seemingly universal response here has been that my bridge is possibly excessively flat, I've been paying particular attention to the individual string playing the last couple of days... and surprisingly I'm still happy with it.. but I do a bunch of things "wrong", but I don't think my bridge is too flat for me..
Just listened to your "I feed my horse" and unknown AEAE tune... nice playing! I'm particularly jealous of that tone you're getting out of your fiddle... that's the tone I've been wanting... I'm getting way too much string noise....think I'll download those two tunes and try once again, to improve my tone...

Hey Steve .. if it makes you feel any better ... that 90 yr. old fiddler I play with , Jody ... his bridge is real flat like yours . Classical players hand my fiddles right back to me ... I get the polite smile but they are thinking " wow, thats a messed up bridge ! " LOL
