Love that purfling. Is that Bic, or Pentel?
And with the ebony insert on the bridge, why bother with the sleeve on the E string?

First question: definitely pentel.
Second question: I couldn't get the sleeve off the string over the end winding, so I'd rather put it there than have it buzzing around.
