Here's a song I wrote about 3-4 years ago, originally just my old 1893 Lakeside parlor guitar, complete with oak back and sides and the vocal. Thought I'd try to add some cigar box fiddle to it, kind of pleased with the way it came out. Here's hoping there's no blues under your Christmas Tree. :-)

This one sounds Christmassy to me. It so reminds me of Natalie MacMaster's "Christmas Jig" except, that one is a slip jig, and this one is a regular jig. I started thinking about trying to record this last week when Jerry posted his Christmas music thread. Anyway I hope you enjoy it.

I'm still just learning this one, but it's starting to okay! I'm playing it on my Hopf.

Celebrating the Cigar Box Fiddle's 3rd year in existence, and since the cigar box came from a little antique shop in Missouri, the Missouri Waltz seemed appropriate. I keep filing on the bass bar(which I made way too big to begin with) and the sound seems to keep getting better.

A haunting tune full of just the perfect dissonance, from a wonderful CD Erynn Marshall and Carl Jones, Old Tin, you should probably own this CD!

Love this tune, just got the new purchase out of the shipping box, strung it up with what I had and this is how it sounds.

It's starting to sound turkeyesque. LOL
