Avid Sailor Jerry Art enthusiast. Waited until I was in my 50's to learn Guitar, went around for 6 years hardly playing. Have always been much better at Fiddle. Better as in I would listen to a song and could play a few by ear. Time to learn the Neck notes and read music for this piece of wood that I love so much. I like Guitar and can gig but would leave it as a secondary passion if I can get as far on Fiddle. My Fiddle is a Columbia from KC Fiddles and These little chin harps were probably tuned from the git go by a person in a powder wig that plucked a string and said. "darn these pegs, leave it, sounds fine" LOL I do not compare Guitars to Fiddles but when I fall asleep at night the word "gears" comes to mind. :) Otherwise these are strings from the gods we get to bow until we strum a harp.
