I am trying to contact depoyd...Emory Stroop was my great granddad, his grandson, Gary Higgs was my father who also played some here in the Shenandoah Valley with my great uncles, Noland Stroop & "Bunny" Stroop...I've been trying to find my great grandad's music online, & ran across depoyd's blog...would love to hear anything he might have of my great granddad's music, only a little has passed down the line & most is on cassettes,...glad to know alot of people appreciated his talents & good to know I have some relatives out there still pickin' & grinnin' :-)
