My grandfather, Luther, played fiddle with my grandmother accompanying him on the piano. Although, I never had a chance to hear him, I know a couple of his favorite tunes were Red Wing and Soldier's Joy. At forty, I stopped wishing and began playing. Now, I play with my daughter, Sarah, and friend/mother-in-law, Mabel. We are the G-Strings and enjoy playing Old Time tunes and singing gospel.
