Born in a log cabin in Mineral Springs Tennessee. Outdoor plumbing, coal oil lamps, and a wood cook stove. USAF & American Airlines retired. Main hobbies are banjo and fiddle pick'n and quail hunt'n. I was 58 when I started learning to pick the banjo. Wish I had started sooner! As my banjo friends would say, "I've gone over to the dark side after starting on the fiddle 10 Jan 2016." I love 'um both!!
