I am 53 and started out musically with the Beatles/Stones then to Byrds to Clapton / Hendrix to Byrds to Parsons to Haggard/Jones to Norman Blake to James Bryan. I played lead guitar in bands but while in college, I took flatpicking lessons. Have always been a guitar player. But, I am a lover of old time music, especially fiddle music. So at age 50, decided to take lessons. It's my main instrument now. I also love Irish fiddle tunes.
