More About Me

I studied violin making at the North Bennet St school in Boston, and worked in set-up, repair and restoration for Arthur Toman. I currently live in sunny Portland Oregon.
Though my lutherie training is classical, I'm a fiddler and dig working with fiddle players to customize set-up etc. I get a real kick out of getting old violins up and running again.
I currently offer set-up, adjustment, repair and rehair services. For sale I offer vintage fiddles of the funky and not so funky varieties as well as my own hand made violins, violas and 5-string fiddles.
