Helicore makes a long scale Viola E string. I ordered one friday. For me the switch was about size. This will allow me to play my fiddle tunes without having to learn alto clef...hoping it sounds good.

	LightheartedinCali says: 4/17/2014 8:00:14 AM I don't feel reading alto clef is really necessary,tho I am learning it myself. I've been tabbing out tunes by looking at treble clef manuscript and tabbing into viola. Has worked for me......
