Hi: Great group. I'm a violinist who taught myself viola several years ago. We have a pretty good fingering chart (with a pdf version, "Printable Version" in the upper left hand corner. Please see:

A lot of folks like this. We also have a 14" viola which a lot of people put violin strings in order to get a really powerful violin. See:
