This has long been one of my favorite songs by the Beatles. I was blown away by their use of a string quartet in this innovative, driving tune. I was able to locate and download the sheet music for string quartet. Since I now have a viola, I'm going to attempt to work up a rendition. I'll substitute my Bass for the Cello part. I have never attempted to bow my upright bass so that will add another challenge. This may take some time but I like setting goals and working toward reaching them.

	TimK says: 9/4/2011 6:07:57 PM I've posted this tune in my music section. This was my first attempt at a quartet and it is not perfect but it was a lot of fun to work on. I used fiddle for the two vocal lines and the viola for the cello part. There are six tracks in all. Please forgive the sour notes :-)
	eerohero says: 9/4/2011 7:02:40 PM I will dig into it, asa I get the Viola,I´m looking for it at the second hand market, and yes, I sure like Beatles, all of it, who doesnt ? the thing about Rolling Stones was a joke of course,yet I like their Engineer on Guitar, Keith Richards, greátest R & B guitar player in my opinion. six tracks in all ! wow, I´ve heard this song done by street musicians around the world, the audience is very pleased with it. Last time, I´ve heard this , was in St. Petersburg, Russia . Their String Bands have a very High quality, thanxs for posting this one, TimK
