This is a fine violin by Juan Pablo Mijares in Colorado Springs. Mijares went to the Salt Lake violin making school, and this violin excellently shows the skill of a maker trained at that prestigious school. Its workmanship is clean and precise and it has an excellent varnish to complement the wood. It has the original setup from the maker and the bridge bears his stamp. It responds well and feels powerful under the bow.
It comes in a hard thermoplastic case with a bow. If a different case is preferred, options are available. Other bows are also available, some of which are listed on this site.
