This is a fine and wonderfully preserved example of the work of Collin-Mezin fils from the beginning of the 20th century. At this time, the maker was still regularly collaborating with his father and making his finest instruments. The two-piece back has a deep and rich flame and a lustrous varnish that accentuates its beauty.
It has been professionally set up by Maxham Violins. Like most Collin-Mezin instruments, it has a clear and powerful voice and speaks without effort.
It will be shipped in a lightweight case unless a different option is desired. Bows are available upon request, some of which are listed on the site.
