This is an incredible Scottish violin made by George Dyker in 1916. Its varnish is original and looks like it’s brand new despite being well over 100 years old. It’s not common to find such an exquisitely made Scottish violin, and this one has both the beauty and booming sound of a professional instrument. It has recently been played in a concert hall and it put a lot of very nice violins to shame. It has been fitted with Wittner mechanical pegs for ease of tuning. It will come with a basic foam core case in which it can be shipped, or you can choose a different case at a good price instead. Bows are available upon request as well.
This violin is a real diamond in the rough.
