I've posted a song I wrote for church for Palm Sunday... I recorded it this morning and even added a bit of fiddle... just wishing everyone a beautiful Easter season!

Thank you Chuck... but I can't take credit it for it... I've never been able to write much of anything that was very good... But that one... well, it just "came" and I have to think there was a "Higher Power" involved. The words, the tune just fell into my hands...

Nice! I think the fiddle sounds great; very sweet. And nice to hear something that just happened today...our band is playing Amazing Grace next week for Easter; I'm going to try to get a recording, but I don't think it'll be a very clear recording as I'm going to have to do it with my little USB recorder. I just put up a few songs/tunes from our band on my homepage too.
Also, I'm now addicted to the recording of Bonaparte's Retreat that you just put up. I'm going to have to learn it...

Good luck at Easter!! You'll have to post the recording if it turns out!! I'll check out your music on your home page for sure!
And yes, Aly Bain is just a master -- pure and simple! That's the way I hope to play before I die!
