Hi everyone,
I finally got around to putting up a few files of tunes and songs on my homepage. Comments, constructive criticism, or encouragement are all welcome. I thought I'd use my music page to try to keep track of my progress over time, so I uploaded a few tunes/songs from early October 2008 (when I first recorded some stuff with my band) and then a couple additional tunes/songs from right before Christmas 2008 (same band). We mostly play at church, so the stuff that I've recorded so far are tunes and hymns (Planxty Irwin, I'll Fly Away, and I'm Gonna Sing When the Spirit Says Sing in October and Le Tourment/Maison de Glace and Go Tell it on the Mountain before Christmas).
At the time of the October recordings, I had been playing the fiddle for 3 years, officially, but had really only gotten serious about it for the 8 months prior to recording...was too busy trying to get through school before that to invest the time I'd hoped in it. Oh, and in the October recordings, I'm playing a borrowed Eastman VL200 from a local shop, and in the December recordings I'm playing my new-at-the-time Tuscan from Gianna Violins.
Hope you enjoy the tunes!

Thank you for posting those fine recordings. I enjoyed both the vocals and fiddling very much.
