One of our own, Henrik Jansberg was voted the Danish artist of the Year!!! Henrik's new CD, "OMNIVOR" also won. The two guitars in his band also won awards!!! Man this guy ROCKS!!! Congratulations Henrik!

You must go to his homepage here (http://www.fiddlehangout.com/my/berg) and listen to the tunes he's posted. There is a medley of traditional Danish tunes plus three of his own compositions: a glorious waltz, a swingy tune, and a contemporary piece.

That right BJ, he is playing one of my 5 strings I made for him last year. He is a player that really has that 'feel" and sense of rhythm. He is the kind of talent that is great publicity for me.

Congratulations to Henrik as well! That's quite an accomplishment. I really enjoy his playing. I tried to buy a copy of his "Omnivore", but no luck so far.

(FWIW, the CD was released in early 2007.)
