I am using a 2001 Dollywood Charles J. Horner (un-muted) violin for the melody and harmony parts. I sometimes mute for a more mellow tone, but I wanted to hear the strings and give a more outside and authentic sound.

This is another Civil War tune that depending on which side you were on determined which title and lyrics you used, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_Cry_of_Freedom

Good job on a CW "classic" Chuck. The twin fiddles is a nice touch!

Nice work on one of my old favorite tunes.

Sounds purty with nice harmony. I love old civil war tunes..simple melodies. Does anyone play Goober Peas?
