Banjo tuning fCFCD -- I know, it's usually in "D". But I was just paying around and having fun, this is what fell out of the instrument. That's what music is all about anyway, isn't it. It could capoed up to "G," or booted up up to "G" with some magical software. The banjo is a Chuck Lee custom walnut openback new in September 2008, made in Ovilla. TX.

OK, so now you need a fiddle playing along with you. And I'm gonna make that happen tonight. I'll let you know how it goes.

Just call me Dwight.

You're going to overdub a fiddle part to Arkansas Traveler in F?

Well, I did it, thanks to your inspiration, Dan Gibson. I figgered out how to play Arkansas Traveler in F. Listening to your banjer part helped a lot! I did record it, nothing great or memorable. If you really wanna hear it, you'll have to beg me to make a fool of myself. But I'm willing to do it.........in the Name of Art!
Keep them cards & letters.

Howdy, Dwight, ("Howdy" is an affectation. I live in Texas, but I grew up in North Carolina.)

Bring it on. I want to hear it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I hope you had as much fun with it as I did. That's what music is all about, I think.

Thanks for the hard work.

Best regards,
