I am working on my YouTube channel, since I asked Meta to remove my facebook account (yay! what a liberation!). I stumbled upon this video, that I decided to put back in the public domain:

It's the closest I ever got to playing together with another fiddler.

Don't know if she reads here but thank heaven for people like Julia Plumb!



While I am watching I notice the bow hold that my violin teacher taught me in that first violin year is far from how I hold the bow now at least... I see my wrist moving more naturally. Could be though that I lock my thumb a bit, did that for a long time.

Thanks al!! Tried it again last week after 3 years, now it appeared to be a lot easier. Going to study the harmony part as well. Not an old time/ appalachian tune, but one to keep forever.
