I work with two wonderful players who love fiddle-style and we had trouble finding fiddle duets suitable for contemplative moments. At the time I was writing, my first two grandchildren were due, so these are dedicated to the new families. Sheet music is available if you'd like to play these yourself.

Haha, you're right, of course - this is fiddle-flavored.

I am totally impressed by these fiddle flavoured compositions! I find especially Momma's Musette enchanting. I can listen to this kind of music for hours . It brings me a quiet mind , a mind that can just dream away <3

Thank you so much for sharing these!!

I love how you dedicated those duets to your grandkids and their families. The titles alone make me want to listen and maybe even try playing them.

That gives me an idea. Since these are duets and the two parts sometimes overlap in range, it's a little hard to hear who is playing what, unless you can really pick out the different colors of the two instruments. I should record the parts individually and save a little work for those who play by ear.
