I learned this from Suzy Thompson. The first 2 parts are in G, the last in C. When it comes time to hit that note in 3rd position, just slide your whole hand up. You could just practice doing that a whole bunch of times. In the first part I like to do a G chord where I put my 3rd finger on the A string and my 2nd finger on the E. I think I did that in the last time through.

That’s a solid tip about sliding the whole hand for the 3rd position-makes it way easier than jumping around! I also like your fingering for the G chord; it sounds fuller. Practicing that slide a bunch definitely helps smooth things out.
