This is two times my own take on Dwight Diller's Liza Jane. Slow tempo, just fiddling around with the tune using my first own bow, a wooden Dörfler on the fiddle my mother gave me , not taking into account the official structure of the tune , not thinking about bow direction at all. Just me and just some fun chaos.

During the first recording you literally see me smiling and thinking ...' Is this the wooden bow that I have been ignoring for years , my less favorite bow??  It sounds great on this fiddle!'

Then the recording after  I am taking it a bit further.  It is like all of a sudden a lot more technique is possible,  I don't know where this comes from, but today this wooden bow was my greatest rediscovery.

Look how happy it makes me!!

For this fiddle from now on the Dörfler is my number 1!

You got it smoothed out nicely towards the end!

Cool! I left a comment on your YouTube. Basically...I think it's right on Dwight Diller and he would be so proud to know you played that. I enjoyed hearing it. Very nice old timey fiddling!
