Somebody contacted me to buy this with "I propose payment via certified check. Pick up will be after the payment has cleared your bank. If you agree, Leave your name and address so I can effect payment."
This is likely a version of the certified check scam. The "certified check" can clear the seller's bank before the funds will actually be deposited, but then it turns out the check is bad after the seller has shipped the item to the scammer. The seller then has to refund the bank.
I don't know if others are getting the same message. Don't fall for it. Be careful out there!

I had a scammer contact me about two bows at the same time a day or two ago. It appears it’s the same certified check scam.

That is Exactly the same words these 2 new scammers used with me!!
When I ask which fiddle they are asking about- no response.
