Between 2000 and 2006 I lived in the northern Shenandoah Valley and went to the occasional jam.
There was a fiddler. Pretty sure from Martinsburg WV
Used a cello bow
Age 60-70s?
Dark graying hair
Heavy, may have had a limp, some health issues
Could play fiddle tunes and bluegrass
He had a clamp on one of the upper bouts of his fiddle (to hold a crack)
He was really good.
Anyone got a name or more info?
