If you are taking a pic of the inside, it the label, it helps to shine a light in through the other f hole.

The top looks to be well made. Without shots of the back and scroll it’s impossible to say whether it’s worth it to refurbish because damage in those areas could determine the answer.

HI @DougD funny you mentioned the Hopf Violin. I personally loved it. I bought it for $20NZD, so its only like $15USD, a pretty darn good bargain. I recently befriended with a family where the husband enjoys refurbish violins. So now i have sent it their way, and he said the violin is really solid and should make a good restoration project. I only need to pay for materials as he wants to practice and master his art. so hoepfully it will be very nice, for very little money. I will take to a luthier just to see what value they will put on it. i can keep you updated if you want :) can make a post afterwards
