The Violin Beautiful - Posted - 03/31/2024: 18:17:23
This is a violin I bought a long time ago for varnish practice at a workshop. I was never satisfied with the look of the varnish after the workshop and put it away for over a decade. About two years ago a customer asked me to revarnish a cello, so I decided to strip this one and reuse it for practice before working on the cello. This time I was happier with the result, so I
revoiced it to improve the sound as well. Since I don’t have much time for my own projects, it sat for months before I got to the work. Then, once it was done, it was about a year before I had the time to set it up. At long last, it’s ready for a player.
It responds easily and has a full tone.
