For the past several years I've used a red Monster brand rapid charger to charge my phone.. Works fine once and then needs to have itself recharged.. Short of spending $300 for a large battery pack, what charge pack do you recommend.. I want to charge my phone once daily and my hearing aids once daily for 8 days.... I've looked at the solar option devices but the fine print always says to Not us solar except in an emergency because the units charge so slowly..Suggestions? What do you use? I could just buy several of the Monster units since they are inexpensive..

We use this charger on our camping trips, and it will charge an 2x iPhone/Apple Watch for a 5 day camping trip. I would guess that it would handle your use case of single phone and hearing aids for 8 days. (And it's no where near 300 dollars). The solar charging is kinda meh ... and barely does anything, but if you can leave it out all day you can squeeze some extra juice out of it.

I think the main thing to look at is the man value. The one we use is 25000 mAh, you can buy ones with even higher amount of charge, that would probably last you more than your 8 days.

I've used Anker battery packs for years and have had great success with them. They come in all sizes, to suit your charging needs. Our family camps quite a bit and my son is deaf and uses cochlear implants.

Can you add specifics? like power? is it solar or plug charge? which model works for you? Is it on Amazon?

I did a little more research, and it seems like to fully charge an iPhone 10,000 mAh, will do it 3 times. So if you want 8 times, then you'll need at least 26,000 mAh. If you want to add in hearing aids, I'd probably look at like a 50,000 mAh battery bank. Which are super cheap. 50 bucks or so on amazon. Matter of fact you could buy 2 of those and you'd cover yourself plenty.
Note you can also do things on your phone to conserve battery. Put it in airplane mode, turn off geolocation services, turn it on low battery mode, etc. That way you don't have to fully charge your phone every night.

Yes, I turn off everything I don't need on the phone.. I have an old Charger that works for the hearing aids but not all week..I've ordered an Anker device and between the two I should now be ok.. My daughter has a mega Anker charger and it will charge everything we camp with but there may come a time when she can't camp and I don't want to feel dependent.. Hey, it is just money right? While at Clifftop I"ve suggested that she and I just hook up some coffee cups to fishing line to keep in touch with each other.

I have several models of various sizes, all purchased on amazon. They are all plug charged and last me anywhere from two days to an entire week. Here is one of the bigger ones I ordered in 2019, I'm not sure if the exact same model is available now. Whenever I travel now, even if I'm not camping, I charge up a couple of these and take them along with me. Even if I'm saying in a hotel. You know how some hotel rooms only seem to have one outlet, and it's behind a bed that can't be moved? The one caveat, some are capable of powering a laptop and some are not (most are not). So if that is something you want to do, read the fine print.
With my boy's cochlear implants (they last one day on a charge), I really just had to buy a battery pack and test it to see if it work and to see how many charges we could do. Oddly, there was no information on Amazon about how many cochlear implant devices it would charge!

I have two of that type of portable charge. The company that makes them is no longer listed on Amazon. The brand is RAVpower and they last several days between them and two phones. I also have a separate portable solar panel that charges the batteries, also made by same company. It trifolds open to be about 30"x15" and works even on a overcast day, although very slowly.

I read scads of reviews about solar rechargers and determined that most people didn't like the charge speed on small devices and buying a large solar array just was something I didn't want to deal with .. Now that I have two devices I'm testing one to see how many days it will recharge my hearing aid batteries and the other I'll test to see how many days it will recharge my phone.. All fun and games..!! See you at Battleground or Clifftop..

The 337 Power Bank is amazing.. So far I've recharged my phone 5 times (not full charges, but averaging 50%) and the unit still shows all 4 power level lights on. This should serve me nicely at Clifftop and I'm confident that it will recharge my hearing aids also...I'll do that test later.
For those of you who might think that too much attention is being paid to having a charged phone around at a festival when a festival is usually a place where one wants to get away from the other world, well.. some people feel the NEED to be readily available due to things like family issues (not always good) and health issues.

i record with my phone, lookup tunes I know but cannot recall on my phone, check the weather, take photos, video, etc.

The solar charger works quite quickly when it's sunny, and I mostly only use it to charge the battery pack.

That is interesting.. must be a large array??? All reviews of small arrays say it takes forever to recharge the pack.. How large of a unit do you have..?
