My 1st one got hit by a house-wide power surge.
According to some. It may be discontinued. But here's the rub: I've got used to the interface. It's stand alone. So you can't blame it on latency.
I don't know, I guess I may have had the 1st one for 5 or 10 years, but got more out of it since I've retired. I guess you'd call my product a demo. If I have an idea for a song, or if I get someone else's tune in my head and need to explore it, boom there it is. The machine creates a final product that is a .wav file. You can adjust the resolution at the sacrifice of file size. It come with a small SD card. I've since replaced with a 1gig card. I have filled it up with a dozen projects. They can easily be offloaded via USB link to a computer or tablet. Lastly, this is a tool. It can't perform miracles. I used to work on a project for hours only to toss it the next day. It was the right thing to do because, one gets involved and loose site of fundamentals like timing, tone, and taste. Maybe this part doesn't belong in a product review? Maybe we can delve into recording production and expectations, etc. in another thread. We shall see if there is an interest. There are lots of reason to record yourself and others. Like other instruments or "tools" it improves a bit with experience.
