Yes Tim, this is a great Canadian tune that still gets played a fair bit in Eastern Canada. And Swing, we do usually have apiano accompaniment. If you both like Canadian tunes such as Maple Sugar and the Lighthouse Keeper, you may want to check out Ned Landry wno is known for his vast repetoire along with sensational award winning fiddling. By the way, Ned has a 12 yr old great grandson who is earning a very solid reputation of his own.

Thanks for the link to Ned Landry's web site. I have a couple of his tunes so I was some what familiar with him. I learned Mouth of the Tobique from the Fiddler's Fake Book earlier this year but wasn't playing it with the drive & emotion as Mr. Landry. Having heard his version, it's back to the drawing board
