Someone suggested Clyde Davenport's Rocky Road to Dublin for the C Tune page. But is it really in C I've uploaded it to my music space. I'm usually pretty good at deciphering what key tunes are in but I'm not sure on this one.

It's a darn nice tune whatever key it's in.

Depends on what your criteria is for a "C" tune I guess.

Sounds to me like the first part's in C and the second part goes to A-Minor.

But he's either got the fiddle tuned sharp or the recording's been sped up 'cause what should be an E is almost an F.

At least that's how I hear it....

The guitar plays 1st and 2nd part in C and the lest in A here.
If I play guitar for this tune I play major A mostly and end with C both at the end of 1st and 2nd part. And A and E on 3rd and 4th part .
And this one sounds close enough to call a varsion of RRtD family like Allen Sisson's, Bill Hensly's, Ossey Helton's, Burl Hammons.......which are A tune.
