Hello, friends-
I posted some of my fiddling from a couple of different fiddling traditions. These tunes are on my Fiddle Hangout Home Page -- I hope you enjoy them!
Dave Reiner
Canyon Jig: a short version of a tune I wrote a number of years ago.
Chicken in the Barnyard: I love chicken tunes! I learned this from the playing of Clark Kessinger.
Drunken Hiccoughs: I learned this from Tommy Jarrell at his house in North Carolina.
Inisheer-Gravel Walk-Julia Delaney's-Music for a Found Harmonium: An Irish medley from the Reiner Family Band's December 2006 concert in Key West.
Perrodin Two-Step: Cajun -- I'm on fiddle with my friend John Chambers on accordion.
Shottis fran Idre: A fine Swedish tune from the town of Idre.
A tune from The Banks Medley: Learned from the playing of the great Jean Carignan.
Yew Piney Mountain: Learned from the playing of French Carpenter.
